FIGHTING FOR 2020

Over 2000 Florida Democrats gathered in Orlando to discuss strategies for winning in the 2020 Presidential race and in state and local elections.  The party offered a number of training sessions in addition to rolling out its new "Municipal Victory Program" designed to train candidates and campaign workers and supporters how to win in local elections.  Training sessions included media training, fundraising, communications, volunteer recruitment and retention and developing strong phone banking teams. 

In addition to the training sessions, the party approved 10 resolutions submitted by members and voted on by the attendees on issues important to the party and to communities.  These ranged from climate change to common sense gun laws, to hate speech and supporting immigrant communities.  To read all the adopted resolutions:

There are three elections in Santa Rosa County in 2020:

Presidential Preference Primary   March 17, 2020

Primary                                         August 25, 2020

General Election                           November 3, 2020
